Want to know more about Coeliac disease and Gluten Free?
FREE event featuring presentations by health and wellbeing specialists, cooking demonstrations and recipes by celebrity chefs.
“How to parent children with Coeliac Disease”, and “Why seek out a Dietician once diagnosed?” are just some of the questions that will be answered at the weeklong Coeliac Awareness virtual show from Sat 13 – Sat 20 March.
Kim Faulkner-Hogg, holds a PHD in coeliac disease and the gluten free diet, is an accredited dietitian and member of the Dietitians Association of Australia. She will be kicking off this weeklong event with an introduction to coeliac disease.
Guests will learn tips and tricks on gluten free snacks and lunchbox ideas, in a cook along with MasterChef contestant and Coles ambassador, Courtney Roulston.
Virtual attendees will learn from a host of professional chefs, including, Adam Rice teaching us how to build a sensory dish with impact, and Helen Tzouganato, providing more helpful tips around gluten free cooking.
Attendees will hear Olivia Jackson Battye, Managing Director and publisher of Yum GF and Emily, a food blogger, to talk about their own personal journeys with coeliac disease, including a Q&A session.
Nutritionist and Bio-scientist, Alix Murphy will talk about food label reading for coeliacs. Along with accredited Dietitian, Rebecca Ponsford teaching us the difference between coeliac disease testing and reactions to gluten and wheat fructans.
Bonus videos will be available such as, gluten free recipes, an overview of coeliac disease, the importance of having a healthy mindset, coeliac from Naturopaths perspective, the importance of seeking out a dietician after being diagnosed and a Q&A session with sports Nutritionist /Athlete Kira Sutherland.
Throughout the week a full program of content will be released daily on all things Coeliac and Gluten Free, during the Coeliac Awareness Virtual Show from Sat 13 to Sat 20 March.
