Frank and Roy’s business is running on the smell of an oily rag, and it stinks. Cutting their losses as employees, they created their own digital media production house as a means to have control over their careers and, by extension, their lives.
It’s been five years, 164 days and nine hours but who’s counting? They are. They’re still hustling like it’s day one, burning the candle at both ends and on the sides but only just paying the bills. And tomorrow, they’re out of money. So it’s sink or swim, which is all you can do when you’re Swamped.
A survival comedy about work, friendship and abandoning all hope.
'Bizarre, brave, daring, probably dangerous, but most of all smart and very funny.' - Herald Sun
'The acting was brilliant… really engaged with the audience, and continued to hit the mark with their constant, sometimes dark, humour.' - We Know Melbourne
'There’s no time for conventional punch lines here. This is a true work of unique brilliance.' - Squirrel Comedy
Written and performed by Bec Petraitis (Shaun Micallef’s Mad As Hell, Get Krack!n, Gamey Gamey Game) & Kate Dehnert (The Last Year of Television, Get Krack!n, 'Loner' podcast).
Directed by award-winning comedy director Evan Munro-Smith (Sammy J’s Playground Politics).
Produced by Stupid Old Studios.
