My Queer Spiritual Entropy

Holly is on a mission to make sense of the incongruity between their inner and outer worlds. Through the multiroling of six disparate characters, we are guided through a full spectrum of colour that is the non-binary experience. An innocent soul is stolen and indoctrinated into a black and white world. But as in nature, thunderous persistence to be oneself grows back through the cracks. Through a vast palette of clown, bouffon, performance art and song, Holly's story will make you laugh, cry and identify.

This one-human show is an unapologetic toss-up of our world and it's values. It demands change and enlightens a diverse perspective, through the unshakable force of vulnerability and love.

Holly Rowan, a non-binary British performer, is bringing their solo show, made in the wilds of their creative travels over the last 18 months. Funded by British Arts Council, they spent 3 months performance training in Goa, India, where they began making My Queer Spiritual Entropy, which later came into fruition in Australia with two successful runs in Melbourne Fringe (Oct 2023) and Adelaide Fringe (April 2024). Since then, Holly has been continuously remounting and refining the show for different performance spaces.
